We take the HCQ in tonic water which has quinine.

What tonic water do you drink? Look into it - some name brands don't have any quinine in them, they just add a bit of bittering to mimic the taste. FDA regs limit quinine in tonic water to 83 ppm, which is about 40 mg in a half-liter bottle. So you'd need to drink about 20 of those bottles to hit malaria-level quinine dosages, and that's assuming your manufacturer is hitting the max amount allowed, and not cheaping out and only adding half or even less.

You can get the quinine at Walgreens or CVS in Hylands Leg Cramp under tongue quick dissolve tablets.
