A miniature pocket transistor radio. Used to listen to that all the time with an earphone, hidden under my pillow at night.

Ditto... Ran down many a 9v falling asleep before turning it off... Arrgghh....

I remember the kids with transistor radios would sneak them into school to listen to the World Series.
