I’m in AZ, but I hope the rain has stopped for you in Cali, because you are right... when it’s good, there is no better weather than in California.

I’ll pass on CA weather. On the Santa Ana winds, earthquakes, mud slides, fires, etc.

Nothing beats New England weather. Just when you get sick of it, it changes (doesn’t apply in Maine LOL).

Just my opinion. With that said I would love to experience the desert after a rain.
