Looking at the stars at night and that is correct.

Is the tech data for it in Arabic?
If they aim it at earth they will know what you did last summer.
🙄

“NASA To Launch Telescope Stronger Than Hubble That Can See Back In Time”
cool! i wonder if it can help me find all of those lost socks ...
With over 100 successful missions to orbit, the Ariane 5 is one of the world’s most reliable heavy lift vehicles capable of delivering Webb to its destination in space.
The European Space Agency (ESA) is providing the launcher and associated launch services as part of its contribution to the Webb mission. These launch services have been tailored to accommodate all the specific requirements of the Webb mission.
Yep, it takes time for light to get to our little planet...
Rockets launching from French Guiana on the northeastern coast of South America benefit from a slingshot effect of being so close to the equator, where the rotational speed of Earth at the surface is greatest.
Webb’s launch site is Arianespace’s ELA-3 launch complex at the Centre Spatial Guyanais (CSG), or Guiana Space Center. The center is located near the town of Kourou in French Guiana, an overseas department of France.
You are correct.
Are they going to point it back towards the earth so we can what it was like in the 50s?
because hat was the deal with EASA and they have the launch vehicle.
What a maroon!
All telescopes can, so-defined, see back in time...
JSW will just “see” further back by seeing “further-away” galaxies and/or stars...
I’m just happy that NASA has time to do actual space stuff. What with all the muslim outreach and climate change stat fixing they have to do.
ok i get ya, but the muslim outreach is a little long in the tooth now. considering that the JWST is 20 years in the making..
Well, yes. The galaxies they will be viewing are long since gone into black holes and become other galaxies moving in our direction.
Finally, we will learn the real truth about JFK
