CHANDLERVILLE — It was an encounter along Illinois 78 near Chandlerville that lasted just seconds. But it left a lasting impression on a driver going from Cass County to Tazewell County that night.
"When it hit the shoulder, it looked back at me," he said. "I said to myself out loud, '(expletive)ing Bigfoot!'."
Garver was driving the stretch of road about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 29, heading north, about 85 miles north of Alton.
"I saw a large animal jump into the road about 40 yards ahead. When it hit the road, I could see very large legs spread wide in a dead run with large, swinging, hairy arms. The arms switched back and forth close to the ground as its body was leaning forward. It leaped across the road in two jumps," he told investigators for the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, a scientific research group founded in 1995.
Garver said it was about two seconds before the creature vanished into the darkness.
"I could see it clearly," he said. "It was very large and, even though it was hunched over nearly horizontal, it still was close to being wider than my car and nearly to the top of my windshield. It blocked out the lights of (a) car ahead." He recalled it having shiny black hair and a huge stride. "It was running and leaping very fast," he said. "Nearly as fast as a white-tail deer."

I had a young trainee come in as we were having coffee before work and he had the most compelling tale of meeting Elvis as he was working at the 7-11 where he purchased his morning coffee and paper.
A very well delivered story. And most enjoyable.

There has to be a large enough breeding population so that they didn’t die out. But if there were, we’d probably have come across more of them — and certainly have come across their remains.
I had a girlfriend once , a sweet little hippy girl, who told me a story about how she was sunbathing once , nude, on the banks if the Rouge River, in Oregon, in the Rouge River Siskayou Ntl. Forest , when she became aware of a feeling that she was being watched . As she got up and looked around she saw this hair covered creature looming over the bushes looking her. At that moment the creature , whonshe saidwas most definitely a Bigfoot , started making a whistling, hooting noise . She said it was clear to her what the sounds indicated , she could feel its intent . But there was a deep river in the way....

You were there and saw it too huh? Hundreds of reports from outdoorsmen, hunters, forest rangers, even biologists that know what a bear looks like have reported seeing these extremely tall, hairy bipeds and said "It was no bear."
What makes you believe it would leave such evidence? It may be more human than animal and knows enough not to leave traces. That is assuming it exists.

Fauci and his quacks have reminded us just how far government will go to keep its secrets.
And public revelation of a body is highly unlikely - because contrary to the thesis pushed by the TV shows, Sasquatch is not a Big Dumb Ape. Government will shut down any serious attempt to inform the public. They want yokels out in the woods doing howls and knocks, instead.
When I lived in Washougal, WA I heard one tear apart a horse one night. It was in a pasture about 1/2 mile away. Lasted about a half hour. The roaring and horse screams were pretty bad. Owner responded by shooting coyotes over the next several weeks.
