Michael Caputo, a former Trump campaign staffer who worked in his administration, said it’s hard to forecast whom Trump might pick because there’s so much time to go. Whomever is chosen “will have to be loyal, and they’ll have to denounce what happened in 2020. If they don’t, they’re disqualified.”

Do it.
I assume Trump becomes the presumptive nominee the day he formally announces. And if he decides not to run, then it’s DeSantis.
DeSantis as VP would be a great transition for the 2028 race.
I’ll be long gone by then from the vax but it would be good for my kids.
Let FreeRepublic vote and decide who’s his VP pick. And every other administration choice he makes. Because God knows whoever he picks for every position is going to be wrong.
Good points.
I prefer DeSantis for President. But if we have to go with Trump, he should pick a Hispanic Vice President. Preferably a Dan Quayle or Mike Pence type (before he backtabned Trump). Hispanics are not happy with the Democrats and we need to seize the momentum.
Yeah I follow him on you know where and like him too
I can’t argue with that.
Nikki Haley is not a natural born citizen.
“Hispanics are not happy with the Democrats and we need to seize the momentum”.
BINGO!!
And they had better get on it right now.
DeSantis is very impressive no doubt but I think he’s’ going to have to wait.
He runs for governor again in ‘22, that takes him to ‘26 then he runs for ‘28
I think that would be his plan
Word of caution on Ric Grenell. Matt Walsh and him got in a Twitter exchange after GOP went pro-LGBT. Grenell stooped to leftist talking points when challenged, looked really bad, got me thinking anyway. I also think he was part of the push for Caitlyn as governor in California, any idiot could see that was a bad idea.
NO POMPEO.Swamp creature from what I remember.
“DeSantis as VP would be a great transition for the 2028 race.”
Exactly,
This is the strongest ticket. Trump can only do 4 years because of the 22nd Amendment. DeSantis would then have 8 years, “all to himself.”
Trump would have to make his home state New Jersey, though. We can’t afford to lose Florida’s electoral votes.
Rick Grenell is impressive. He’s solid
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
That what his boyfriend said.
No thanks to overt, unrepentant sodomy anywhere near the White House. I want the pendulum to start swinging the other way. And if Trump keeps pushing it then he can go away too.
I suggest GEN. Mike Flynn, and Tom Fitton for consideration

Grenell can have a job in the Trump administration, but running a gay guy as VP is stupid.
I like Grenell, but he won’t pull anybody that’s gay into our camp. Plus, he won’t help us with Hispanics, which we need to keep making inroads with.
He doesn’t even have to be VP, leaving Trump be Trump as a “Special Advisor to the President” would make him all but immune to democrap attacks and free to do what he does best.
The country won’t make it to 2024 at the rate of destruction and death (murder of American citizens by Mengele Fauci et al.) by the traitors within.
Nikki Haley and Kristi Noem. LOL.
