Florida Sheriff Grady Judd, a man who God willing will one day be Attorney General under a DeSantis Administration, is praising a homeowner today. That homeowner protected his home against a home intruder. We've celebrated these stories before. A bad guy does bad guy things. He threatens the life of a good guy. That good guy has a gun. Shots get fired. The good guy isn't the one who is all Swiss-cheese'd up. What really makes this video 10/10 content is Sheriff Judd's vocal defense of the second amendment.

We here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website have been fans of the sheriff for a while. For starters, Grady Judd is the coolest name for a sheriff this side of Buford T. Justice. But Sheriff Judd has been an outspoken proponent of the second amendment, too. He's advised Floridians that if they are comfortable with firearms they should have one for self-defense. He's warned would-be rioters that his citizens not only have guns, but they know how to use them. One time, he even used visual aides to explain slowly to reporters the difference between "peaceful protest" and "violent riot."
Sheriff Grady Judd is a national treasure.
This is the county in FL that I grew up in and that I have moved back to when I quit the woke corporate world. Grady is my sherrif!
What county is that?
If the intruder were black, there would be protest.
This is exactly the way a criminal career should end.
No bail. No trial. No prison. No parole.
He'd better not come in my house, unless it's down the chimney.
My only complaint is that his estate was not made to pay restitution for the expense of the ammo.

About ten years ago an illegal from Jamaica had robbed a store, killed a Polk county sheriff and his K9.
The manhunt led to a wooded area where a gun battle insued...
At the press conference a reporter asked Grady why the perp was shot 69 times. Grady replied, “the deputies ran out of ammo.”
Silence.

But apparently not enough or not with a sufficiently large caliber gun. Another report noted that the burglar "was last reported in critical, stable condition."

Yup. Never shoot to kill. That outcome is for God to decide. Shoot to stop the threat, then stop shooting.
If you do it right, one leads to the other.
There were Deputies from many agencies out of State that were in a “show of strength” parade. I was awed by all the Sheriff vehicles and hundreds (if not thousands) of blue lights flashing as they cruised slowly along the highway. It went for miles! Not only cars but motorcycles too. What a sight!
Never shoot anyone who doesnt deserve it.
