Among the very best.

And not a mountaineer, a rock climber, Henry Barber.

I spent many years on rock and ice.

My partner and LOOKED at a 5.10 Hot Henry route...we thought 5.11+!

You can see where rain/ice melt flows under and most likely through the shack.

LOL. I don’t know how much those guys pay attention to roof status. We just got a new roof in the spring…still get fliers. We joke that the roof is made of fliers from construction offers, pizza, windows, etc.

Looks like it has 300 layers of roofing shingles. I see they went with the limestone. Still, they won’t be able to re-roof without a complete re-build.

Of course, and you would make some tea and talk with them for a bit on the front porch.

This happened during the horrific 12 Battles of the Isonzo, one of the nastiest, bloodiest, but least well known campaigns of WWI, between Italy and Austro-Hungary.

“Cumulative casualties of the numerous battles of the Isonzo were enormous. Half of the entire Italian war death total — some 300,000 of 600,000 — were suffered along the Soča (Isonzo). Austro-Hungarian losses, while by no means as numerous, were nevertheless high at around 200,000 (of an overall total of around 1.2 million casualties).”

Between the deaths and casualties, Italy was so militarily crippled after WWI, that it hadn’t really recovered by WWII.

It’s not like it doesn’t need a bit of work!
And that water flow is your domestic water supply.

Sold strictly as-is. No survey. Property is in need of repairs due to minor roof leak in family room resulting in associated damages and discoloration. Buyer to verify zoning and compliance.

Here in DuPage County, only two layers are allowed.

My 100-year-old house had many more!!!

But less than 300.

Well, this would inspire a more thorough evaluation of my shopping list for Home Depot, as multiple trips would be a major inconvenience.

Also, do they have WiFi?

Much older, remote but not as high in altitude. 5700 ft above sea level.

YES!
Pull the mower up and down on a rope.

Easy peasy!

"I would still get a flier on my door about a free estimate for new roof."

And would be happy to have it, from the looks of things.....
