Standard corporate business model. R&D to create a product, then R&D to create a need for that product, then pay off or extort whoever you need to in order to advance that new need for the product. They are drug dealers selling a new drug, this is how drug dealers operate.
So in November of 2015 Moderna and NIH were working together on mRNA coronavirus vaccines.... were they time traveling to 2019 and knew that there would be another SARS outbreak? Or were they designing Covid-19 back in 2015? I need someone to explain what exactly Beck’s latest conspiracy theory is saying.
Back in the mundane world where conspiracies don’t thrive but viruses do, in 2015 both SARS-1 and MERS were known coronaviruses with mortality rates of 9% and 32%.
Attempts to build conventional whole virus SARS and MERS vaccines had ended in ADE disasters and mRNA was a promising new technique that among other things was being investigated for cancer therapy. Not as much fun as a juicy conspiracy theory of the sort that Glenn Beck is fond of.
