I just learned a couple of months ago that the Galleria Mall in Taunton has been completely leveled. I never went there much as I do not live near there, but the few times that I had it was actually nice and thriving. I do not think that mall was even very old.

I pretty much avoid malls. A few years back I went into the Dedham Mall in order to buy a book for someone. The entire Mall was shutdown except for Sears, which almost certainly is gone by now. I think that you are correct, Malls are soon to become extinct.
