They apparently don't mind any more that we die during their experiment (no liability :. no biggie), but more than that they want to "find" illnesses (bless their hearts). But the pharmas won't make something that makes the ailment go away; that wouldn't be prudent for their stockholders. The pharmas make money selling treatments (but not cures), so if they can (oopsie) "accidentally" create thrombosis, myocarditis, immune disorders, and other problems that need their treatments, they are in a beautiful place (for them!). People will pay them handsomely to reduce the effects of their problems.
For instance, Pfizer is in the process of buying a $50/share company for $100/share that just happens to have medicines on the market or in trials for all those problems (Arena Pharmaceuticals).
And chutzpah is Pfizer’s stroke symptom commercials.
