Why would the medical community so quickly alter and redefine the long held definition of “vaccine” and “herd-immunity” to seemingly protect the “new science” behind the experimental serum?

because as Cletus.D.Yokel points out it's not science. I call it "financed science." They're even changing our dictionary to redefine scientific terms.
