The gallbladder removal drastically impacted his digestive abilities. Chronic issues since 2008.

"The gallbladder removal drastically impacted his digestive abilities. Chronic issues since 2008."

Prior to having my gall bladder out, I had read that many people have issues with what they eat after their gall bladder surgery, especially anything greasy. I'd already been on acid reflux medicine for many years, have a hiatal hernia, and Barrett's Esophagus, so I figured I'd be one of those people. I don't know why, but I have no problems with anything I eat. I feel very fortunate.

As a side note, my grandmother died during gall bladder surgery the year before I was born. The fact that they had to open me up, had me a little worried. I never said anything to the surgeon until a post-op appointment. I didn't want to jinx him.
