I don't link but if people get a chance the most recent podcast from Clif Hi is very interesting...

I use Clif to help me relax and often I close my eyes...lol...

but today he talked about "the worm that flies at night"...something about John Baudrillarid and that so many things in our society rely on mind control of the masses which our lovely Drive By media has excelled at...

but there is one crushing word, the word that brings down the mind control...the word refers to the worm that flies at night...

its there in the back of your brain as you are falling asleep....

"doubt"....

He had 3 surgeries within 6 months of each other. The 3rd was to clean out infection from the 2cnd not healing well.

The mesh came a few years later after an obstruction which had basically resolved with IV fluid and overnight observation. ER insisted on surgical consult. All was arranged with hubby when I wasn’t around. Knowing what I now know-it was not necessary.

Your poor hubby has been through a lot, especially with the infection. I was fortunate, in that I had no issues after my first two surgeries. I’d suffered a perforated bowel from diverticulitis, and they had to do an emergency temporary colostomy on me. They reversed it six months later. The third surgery was to repair the incisional hernia, and the fourth was having my gall bladder removed. They couldn’t do it laparoscopically because of the other three operations. I had good surgeons for each surgery, and the nursing staff at our small hospital took good care of me every time. Two of my surgeons are now practicing in other States, and the one who took my gall bladder out retired. Hopefully I won’t have to worry about ever having to find another one.

It was an honor…

AND I have a confession I’m not proud of. In the past I had let the media influence how I thought about our 45th president. Even though I consumed very little main stream media since 2006 when I watched Nome Chomsky‘s “Manufacturing Consent” which opened my eyes to how the news is just propaganda, my mind was still influenced by outside forces on how to think of President Trump.

I was never a ravenous hater, but I believed he was racist, bad for our country, and generally a bad person. When someone would ask me why, I had no answer other than “that’s what I’ve heard so many other people say.”

But then almost 2 years ago when tyrannical forces began stopping at nothing to take freedoms and kill what America stands for, I saw President Trump standing for freedom and standing for what I believe in. Then I did something very dangerous, I started questioning the beliefs and assumptions about this man that I had been carrying. I found all of them were not based on my own critical thinking nor on any objective evidence. They were all based on emotional persuasion. So I divorced the beliefs I had been carrying in favor of marrying my own beliefs about this man.

Then over the past year and a half I’ve seen the leftist controlled media run the exact same playbook that they aggressively ran against President Trump on anyone else who was getting in the way of their authoritarian agendas. Handing out the label white supremacist to smear people like they’re handing out Halloween candy, calling people fascists, and discrediting anyone who promotes the same viral therapies that this president promoted.

Now based on my own critical thinking, observations, and experiencing him in person, I truly feel that this man genuinely cares about our country and people of all races. If you arrive at a different conclusion from your own critical thinking, I respect that. If you arrive at a different conclusion based on what you’ve been told to think, I do not respect that. I have too much admiration for the divine gift of the human mind to respect a mind being used by others rather than being used by the rightful owner.

It was an honor to meet President Trump.

In April 2012, economist Robert Wenzel was invited to speak at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. On the occasion, he told the central bankers that “vast amounts of money printing are now required to keep your manipulated economy afloat. It will ultimately result in huge price inflation, or, if you stop printing, another massive economic crash will occur. There is no other way out.”

The money supply tsunami
Mr. Wenzel was right and after an attempted quantitative ‘tightening,’ and a 20% market crash in Q4 2018, the Fed capitulated and resumed money printing. That program has sharply accelerated.

M2 money supply [3] is perhaps the most important early indicator of price inflation. In 2020, the Fed added almost $3.5 trillion to the aggregate. The transition is more striking still, in percentage terms:

Price inflation inertia
The relationship between money supply and price inflation is not linear; price inflation tends to move with some inertia. The 1970s inflation was preceded by the “Great Prosperity” of the 1960s: monetary expansion began in October ‘62 and continued through 1969. While money supply increased by 38% during that time, prices rose only 11% from April ‘62 to September ‘69. This inertia of price inflation convinced the era’s “New Economists” that inflation was a thing of the past. But inflation did emerge, only with a delay.

Gestation and the eruption of 1970s inflation
After seven years of growth fueled by deficit spending and credit expansion, U.S. economy began to overheat in 1969 and price inflation reached almost 5%. Nixon administration responded by instituting a tight money regime and extreme budget cutting. This led to a sharp recession.

A wave of mass layoffs and business bankruptcies spooked the government to abruptly reverse itself once more once more and increased deficit spending in the summer of 1970. Federal Reserve ramped up monetary inflation rate to 6.5% and the outlook quickly brightened again: interest rates plunged, stock markets soared and the nation was back on the high road to “prosperity.” But by now inflation began to accelerate and in 1974, it reached 11% and stayed high for the rest of the decade.

Destruction of wealth
Warren Buffett warned that for a debtor nation, inflation is the economic equivalent of the hydrogen bomb. It is the most formidable destroyer of wealth. Since 1960 over two thirds of the world’s market economies suffered episodes of inflation which exceeded 25% in at least one year. On average, investors lost 53% of purchasing power during such episodes. In the U.S. between 1972 and 1982, price inflation averaged a “moderately high” 9% per year. It destroyed 65% of investors’ wealth in real terms.
