Is snow so rare in your neck of the woods that peeps don’t know how to drive?
We moved from UT to NM when I was a young teen, rarely had snow but it was too funny watching peeps drive in one inch.
I used to have a tee shirt i bought in New Mexico that said, “If God intended Texans to ski he would have made bullsh!t white”. That could apply to driving in snow too.
Montana's got exactly the reverse problem: Absolute screaming hordes of folks, mostly from places that don't see snow except in pictures, have moved in over the past six or eight months.
WINTER usually starts here within two or three days of Halloween but this year has fooled around so that we've only had a couple little piddly storms until the first significant (like over 6 inches) snow twice now in the past week, with more promised by the weekend.
God spare us all.
Can't drive a half mile before you see two or three cars roaring off into the ditch, somebody's front yard or smashing into somebody. Then there's always the poor soul can't see lane marking for all that nasty snow so they just drive right straight down the middle (Naturally at their customary fifteen-MPH-over).
You want some genuine Domestic Terrorists? We've got a damn battalion's worth cast in the role of Motor Vehicle Operator driving all over the state.
If I've got to go anywhere, I don't bother driving anything but Ol' Nasty, our PowerWagon plow truck. (I'd show pictures but that thing would hurt your eyes.)

We have snow every winter but sometimes more than other times.
It is because we have so many different nationalities here now that come from places where they don’t get snow I believe is the problem.
About a week before the gang graffiti incident at my oldest daughters she reported a car had stopped almost in the middle of the road and just sat there. She got the incident report today and the guy gave the police officer an ID card saying he was from Guatemala. He was jailed on a DUI etc.
The Gang Grafitti on her fence report said the gang was called the TLS (Tiny Little Surenos)
A California-origin street gang associated with the Mexican
Mafia prison gang. Rivals with Norteños.
• Blue bandanas and blue clothing
• Letters “S” and “M” or “eme”
• Number 13 (for “M” - may be X3
or XIII)
• May reverse the letter “N” in
writing (as a sign of ‘disrespect’
to Norteños)
Like I said and others have said. “Scary Times”
