Elon Musk has just made an enemy out of Biden’s White House, telling a crowd that they should just can the whole bill and not pass it:
I love how the interviewer starts by asking Musk about the money for charging stations, which Musk says is completely unnecessary. He argues that we don’t need financial support for gas stations and therefore we don’t need it for charging stations. And this from a man who is in the electric car business, who could certainly benefit from this.
He also said we should get rid of all subsidies. I bet Biden and Democrats loved hearing that!
I’m not sure which came first, but Musk also said we are spending too much money and that’s another reason why the bill shouldn’t pass:
Musk says our budget deficit is “insane”, noting that our expenditures exceed taxpayer money by three trillion. He says if the US were a company, they would be at a three trillion dollar loss and that we should not be adding to that loss.
Clearly Musk has several reasons for not liking this bill and is sounding more like a fiscal conservative. But I’m sure the leftist mob will beat him down for this and we’ll just see what he says in the next few days…
