I remember when PM Netanyahu was adamant that Saddam/Iraq had a substantial nuclear program and was well on its way to having nukes, along with Colin Powell who said even worse about Saddam’s “mobile weapons labs,” etc, etc, that Trump took to task shortly after Powell passed away:
“Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media.”
So I wouldn’t be surprised if Israel and PM Bennett saying Iran will have a nuke in no time as Netanyahu did with Iraq) are making a similar mistake now with Iran although I could be wrong.
They did recover mobile labs in Iraq. Saddam himself was interested and pursued black market nuclear technology from the same three nations that are arming Iran, e.g., Italy, France & Germany. Each of these three countries do an end around the sanctions and the governments & corporations are corrupt with kickbacks from Iran.
There was a three week pause when a series of Russian convoys went into Iraq from Syria hauling out a lot stuff, including aircraft and vehicles which were buried in the deserts in Syria just before the US put boots on the ground. There was a cover up.
