A clip has gone viral of a woman sitting at a table on her own after no one showed up to her planned dinner.
Christian Zamora, who goes by the handle ‘Kidalloy’ on TikTok, shared footage of his girlfriend’s empty dinner table in a video that’s been viewed almost 15 million times.
In it, he explained Maryann had been planning two weeks in advance for her “Friendsgiving” event, decorating her entire basement and cooking a huge feast.

“My girlfriend was so excited for her first Friendsgiving but no one showed up,”

“They were planning everything, everything was all set — the date, the time, and everything. They were all gonna come.
“(But) when the day came and no one was answering the group chat. No one was texting or calling, but in her mind, she thought everyone was running late. When it hit the three hour mark, she was like, ‘Yeah no one’s gonna come.’”

I see the problem, no beer.
The Parable of the Banquet
(Luke 14:15–24)
15When one of those reclining with Him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is everyone who will eat at the feastc in the kingdom of God.”
16But Jesus replied, “A certain man prepared a great banquet and invited many guests. 17When it was time for the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
18But one after another they all began to make excuses. The first one said, ‘I have bought a field, and I need to go see it. Please excuse me.’
19Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out. Please excuse me.’
20Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, so I cannot come.’
21The servant returned and reported all this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’
22‘Sir,’ the servant replied, ‘what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.’
23So the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full. 24For I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will taste my banquet.’ ”
The Parable of the Banquet
(Matthew 22:1–14)
1Once again, Jesus spoke to them in parables: 2“The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to call those he had invited to the banquet, but they refused to come.
4Again, he sent other servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
5But they paid no attention and went away, one to his field, another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them, and killed them.
7The king was enraged, and he sent his troops to destroy those murderers and burn their city. 8Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited were not worthy. 9Go therefore to the crossroads and invite to the banquet as many as you can find.’
10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11But when the king came in to see the guests, he spotted a man who was not dressed in wedding clothes. 12‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’
But the man was speechless.
13Then the king told the servants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14For many are called, but few are chosen.”
What if she told her friends they had to show proof of vaccination and wear masks?
Something’s up when every invited friend doesn’t show up and won’t respond to any communication. It seems like there is a critical bit of information missing from the whole story.
She should invite all of her friends to a Kwanzaa party. I hear that they’re pretty popular.
At least she had one friend show up. Now they can eat like kings for a week with a lesson about people in the bargain.
IMO, fake party to get TikTok hits.
Either way Friendsgiving is blasphemy. A marxist idea. A lot of people are trying to cancel Thanksgiving.
Is there a reason why we’re supposed to care about this?
Time to get better friends there Kidalloy. And a tip for next near - four pieces of silverware really isn’t required for chips & salsa.
I remember a similar thing happening when I was 8 or 9 years old.
I was the only one to show up at at classmates birthday party. He had invited the whole class. He was from one of the poorer families, not that I was from anything but lower middle class myself.
We had a good time anyway and plenty cake.
Maryann - enjoy your new real friends. You’re a nice person and an example of thoughtfulness regarding others.
Peter Brady party...
I thought this was gonna be a Babylon Bee story.
Now, after the video being seen by more than 14 million people, she is ‘famous’, famous for being a victim.
Some may say for being a schmuck.
There has to be some specific reason all her ‘friends’ promised to be there and ALL stood her up.
It’s too much just to be a coincident.Especially for girls.
Watch for an Update, when some of those missing friends explain their side of the story.
All that being said, if that happened to me, the very last thing I’d want is to post a video online about it.
More proof that the world has gone stark raving mad.
.
Could it be that they were all busy celebrating Thanksgiving with their families?
She probably scheduled for when people would be with family. Does she not have family?
