I used to think it would be good to have my body rejuvenated to 18 or so, but only if I could retain whatever I had learned since that ageAnd there is the thing that all of us had said on so many occasions for so many incidents/memories/mistakes;
"If I knew then what I know now. Oh boy."

Even before Radio Shack about every hardware store had a tester and tubes. For certain musicians and audiophiles, those things go for big bux. They use tubes in their amplifiers and are constantly on the look out for NOS (New Old Stock) tubes and reliable testers.

“The same sort of vacuum tubes that make a Stratocaster sound the way it does through a Fender Twin Reverb amplifier worked to automatically drop the high beams until the approaching car passed.”

I know a guy here in Indiana who repairs/rebuilds these for old Caddys and Buicks.

I remember we never had to lock our house, and could leave the keys in the car, and no one needed bike locks.

Actually, my point was that I’d probably still do stupid stuff. You’ve heard the expression young and dumb and full of...energy, yeah that’s it, energy. I suspect that two of those conditions are enough, even if one isn’t quite as dumb as before.
