The stuffing, which I cooked separately, was excellent. I used the neck for flavoring (and in case Cousin Eddie shows up). Grandma’s old recipe, from when I was a kid. My mother also used it, and now I’ve used it. My sister alters it with a few different ingredients, but it’s good when she makes it too.
One store where I do curbside pickup let’s you put in notes but the other one doesn’t. I guess they needed to get rid of the big turkeys. If it was just me I wouldn’t even cook but he looks forward to it.
Make some of it into shredded turkey enchiladas. Serve with the same sour cream sauce you'd use for the chicken ones. Mmmmmmmm.
