They may be trying to appease the horde but we all know that’s fruitless.

Might it be his posturing for future legal actions. They can't paint him into any kind of "white supremacist" corner if he's ticked all the right boxes. Might have some bearing on his future lawsuits.

Unfortunately, if he's disowning conservatism and MAGA, he'll get no support from me.
