Niatonin, the niacin solution, is now "melatonin-free", incorporating butyrate to ensure that the gut generates natural melatonin -- like it's supposed to. You might want to give it another look. I haven't seen any reports of sleepiness from the natural melatonin so generated.
It’s still ultra sciencey and hard for my mind to figure out; plus I already did the FLCCC long haul covid protocol with fantastic results. (I react to so many drugs/etc insanely weirdly that I’d probably react to butyrate too...) My reactions to melatonin go way beyond sleepy. My naturopath doc recommended it when I had cancer, I tried 3x. Wish I could take it, has many benefits.
Yup, it’s two kinds of butyrate and niacin now. Latest is posted here:

FYI I have NOT coached on this newest protocol, nor have I tried it myself. I’m comfortably taking 3g niacin a day now with the slightest of tingles (desired for me). I also take NAC (600mg) twice a day and Chaga twice a day (in coffee). BTW, Chaga powder is nearly tasteless and does not change the flavor of coffee. 👍
I’m having great success with a melatonin, DMSO, and magnesium chloride solution on the skin. It’s pulling out “age spots” on my face and arms. So far I can’t tell the any benefits for sun damaged skin, but I expected that to take a lot of time anyway. Another solution with aloe juice, melatonin and hyaluronic acid is also very nice and luxurious.
Can you link to the new melatonin free NIATONIN?
