Interesting manuscript about the dangers of ‘at home’ treatment with mutagenic antivirals such as Merck’s molnupiravir. From a scientific point of view, the paper is spot on in regards to the potential dangers of low dose treatment [including patients not following the prescribed regimen or duration of treatment].
Note that the manuscript has been rejected from Nature and Science, and withdrawn from Lancet…..all ultra-lib journals that have always ‘towed the government/globalist line’ in terms of what they publish vs what they reject. [i.e., they will NOT publish manuscripts that are good science but do not fit with the globalist narrative…if they do…by mistake…..they will engineer a retraction shortly thereafter].
No doubt that some of the reviewers who were sent the manuscript to review had a Merck address.
The manuscript is a worthwhile read (short and to the point)….the following excerpt summarizes it nicely [emphasis added]:
“One drawback of self-administered oral medications is the risk of low drug concentrations due to missed doses, incomplete courses, or low initial drug penetrance at the site of action (e.g., mucosal membranes in the nasal passages or lungs). Critically, in the case of mutagenic antivirals like molnupiravir, low drug concentrations might increase the mutation rate without reaching the level required for error catastrophe, instead inducing only sublethal mutagenesis (Sadler et al. 2010). This could accelerate within-host evolution of the virus, potentiating new variants of concern that enhance transmissibility or immune escape (Pillai et al. 2008).”
Again, this effect is totally predictable…it’s basic genetics….a genetic selection for variants (mutants)..and why the Biden government has purchased at least 3.1 million courses ($2 billion) of the as-of-yet unapproved drug…..apparently mass immunization is not selecting for variants rapidly enough to continue the plandemic ad infinitum.
