Lin Wood and General Flynn issue. Don’t know if this has anything to do with it or not. But here’s my take. I assume that Lin Wood is a Southern Baptist, we know General Flynn is Catholic. I’m originally from Ohio and when to college in the south. Southern Baptist do not like, trust, do not associate and don’t think Catholics are true followers of the gospel. This is my observation and knowledge as I ask a lot of questions and I asked that one. Never seen anything like it anywhere else I have lived. Someone said that when SHUMER hits the fan. That’s my thought too. All the intermeral squabbling makes good drama, but in the end doesn’t advance the ball. Nothing like fighting for the greater good to make the drama seem insignificant and petty.
I was just remembering how when I was growing up, they used to announce on the radio, school closings due to snow by saying “All Catholic and Christian Schools are closed today”. They made a distinction between Catholic and Christian schools. This was in the 1960’s in suburban Philadelphia. Remember KYW, News Radio, anyone?
That’s possible. I’m Southern Baptist and even though it’s subtle most don’t believe Catholics are even Christian, which is ridiculous IMO. I was allowed to go to church with my friends when I was a kid. When I was young, we lived in S. Florida where there were a lot of Catholics. I absolutely LOVED the atmosphere of the church. Peaceful. When we moved to Tennessee it was hard to even find a Catholic unless they had relocated from up North.
When my mom and dad married, she was Methodist and he was Baptist. They were tolerant of other religions, unlike a lot of Southern Baptists.

It’s much more than that, if you hold your nose and read a bunch of Wood’s Telegram messages from the last two or three days, he’s making psychotic and vicious accusations against Flynn. I have my thoughts about why he and 2 or 3 others are all of a sudden on this rampage.
