It’s certainly a factor. Once in a while I’d see Ken Kesey around town, just doing life’s little errands.

I had to quit drinking a year and a half ago. For some unknown reason beer started causing insomnia which was a miserable but effective motivation to cease.

Easiest thing I ever did. I still have beer and wine in the fridge for guests.

I do believe a certain experience I had in the 80s was used by the Good Lord to steer me towards Him which in turn altered my path 180 degrees.

I was a quart of whiskey a night drinker at age 18 and probably had no business drinking beer all these years anyways. Brewing my own was great fun tho. Gave all my equipment to a friend who was very happy to take it off my hands.

I can’t even stand tthe smell of any kind of booze anymore- even beer and wine.- I think it all changed when I hit 50 or mid 50’s. Just prefer water now

I buried my baby brother in july who drank himself into full renal failure at age 44.

Seeing him jaundiced and bloated and crapping himself for 72 days has made me absolutely disgusted the thought of alcohol. I hate it.

I'd say you and I are better off for it.

Blessings.

Why?

It’s been decades since i touched anything like that and other than not being able to drive or anything was harmless

psiloscybin is not addictive and apparently appears to be very useful in treatment of numerous mental health issues

Christmas. A long time ago when I was into that sort of thing doing psychedelics and staring at a nicely decorated Christmas tree was awesome.
