Well, there is Mesquite and then there is [west texas] “mesquite”.
One doesn’t put on airs about how “texas” it is.
My stomping grounds of old, yes is actually “North” Mesquite however I have hung my hat all over the Messtroplex Area
When my old Grandpappy had a stroke and my uncle had to put him in nursing home I headed outta there, I hear its really gone downhill but I got great memories of the Old Big “D” I grew up in.
