When was the last year that small pox vaccinations were given?
I know it was after 1965, since even though I and fellow entering freshmen had the scar to prove we had been vaccinated as a child, we had to have it again.
It seems the older generation has “immunity”, but later generations were not given the vaccine.
I wonder if this was planned.
Six vials of smallpox were found in a Merck lab in PA.
I was given the vaccine in the 60’s as a child. I’m supposed to still have immunity.

Military were given them during the run-up to the Iraq War in 2003. I don’t know if it is still part of the shot schedule.
