Sheesh, this place is rough. Why do you all feel the need to spew such vitriol?
With that said, I disagree with this actress and everyone here about men vs. women.
FACT: Men, too, are valued for their looks. Women find older men less desirable, just as men find older women.
Youth and beauty fade for everyone. Very few men or women hold onto those good looks as they age. (I know a few exceptions.)
Personally, I like being older. When I was young, men held open a door if they wanted to check me out. Now, they hold a door as a sign of respect.

The years are kind to no one, Miss Parker. Not me, not you, not anyone else.
People who have built their lives around their appearance always take it harder when those looks wither away.

Fairly or unfairly, it is almost never the case for women though. Women are valued for their youth and beauty. Men almost never chase women for their money — and if one does, a smart woman should be on her guard against him.
Until the age of 25, women have the definite advantage. That shifts between 25-35. After 35, with their fertility and looks fading, men hold all the cards.

I identified with it, and many of us can. It’s life, it’s cruel, and it sucks. It is what it is.
BTW, I think she looks fine with the grey hair. She looks like a normal woman having lunch with a friend. I hate her politics.
Gray hair? Whatever. She looks like a horse. If I saw her on the street, I’d have my wife dig around in her purse for an apple.

Some people age well, some don’t. The severe hairstyle does not help.
It’s biological evolution. Men can sire kids in old age; women can’t get pregnant past about 45. Our brains are hardwired to know this.
Therefore, older men are still (generally) attractive. Older women, not so much. Sad, but true.
Yikes!! I am older than her and don’t look that bad - and I’ve done nothing other than just try to live healthy. Don’t smoke and watch your sun exposure. Exercise daily. Don’t vote Democrat. Those are the secrets to a lovely looking old age :)
