Oh, those are GREAT patterns/ideas! Useful and beautiful, for sure.

Our Christmas gift-giving is all about ‘consumable’ items. You have to be able to eat it or use it up in some manner. This year I am asking my sister for coffee and toothpaste, LOL!

I am also leaning towards sewing gift bags that we can all use over and over, versus gift wrap. You want a gift NEXT year? Give me back the bag, LOL!

I’m also trying to rid my home of as much plastic as I can. But more about that in another post, probably on the Garden Thread. ;)

Years ago I made a bunch of ditty bags with tropical flower fabric, sewn in a simple rectangle but with double fabric, design inside and out. Top of the bag just a folded over seam with openings at one end, bought shoelaces for ties. Had many uses.
