Will people be able to see the Northern Lights in the upper U.S. this weekend?

I once saw the Northern Lights in northern Quebec. Incredibly beautiful.

God is indeed the Master. The incredible beauty He has given us is breathtaking.

All; See post 26 with NOAA info on the effects of this CME; Most of the effect will be north of 50 degrees n latitude and per NOAA not major.

Jonrick46, depending on where you live and the weather aurora are possible, but it would have to be early evening I think.

I don't think it will be a problem, but its never a bad time to backup your computer and put the backup drive in a metal drawer.
