My absolute favorite was when crazy Shia Lebouff started streaming just a view of a flag lookign up from the ground, no location disclosed but nothing in the picture but the fluttering flag. People in reddit analysed the pattern of the stars and the contrails of passing jets and found the location of the flag on a farm in the middle of nowhere and confirmed it by going there.

Shia Labouff has seen his 15 minutes of fame come and go. That was a great story how he was tracked down. If Brian Laundrie hadn't died, I'm sure he would have been smoked out too.

That was ME and others on 4 Chan who triangulated. Far-left Reddit had NOTHING to do with it. I have been a member of 4 Chan and 8 Chan for a long time and this is one of those times I brag about nailing a lefty asshole. It wasn’t even the first time: we found his flag in L.A. You can go check WIRED magazine archives but Reddit took our stunt and tried to steal the spotlight.
