Shortages of supplies:
dry ice, liquid O2 (used for production of hospital O2), and liquid Nitrogen (used to remove small skin cancers)
Shortages of medical personnel:
home health, medical O2, nursing homes, hospitals.
I am back from my audit. It was quite the interesting experience today. Normally I don’t talk politics at these things, but snarky remarks escape from me like, er, burps.
Maybe it wasn’t any remark on my part that set it off but my reaction to one of the auditee’s snarky remarks instead.
It had something to do with the IRS being incompetent and behind on mail and wanting to hire 88k agents who are incompetent at everything except serving as part of the inquisition against conservative Christians.
Anyway, this lead to the four of them going on about Gates, Mark of the Beast, Covid being a bioweapon but also being overblown through statistics, how to smuggle Ivermectin into the hospital for friends the hospital is killing, etc.
While I was glad to be in such good company and there was nothing I disagreed with them about, I never thought I would say what I am about to say: I wish they had shut up about it at some point. It actually was a bit much, and I think I got the sense of how we might sometimes sound to the sheep when we talk to them about these things.
But maybe part of this was that I was trying to do my job and they were making my day go longer than I wanted it to.
