What's a tactically sound, in-the-moment way of dealing with someone like that? Someone who's meaner, stronger, and angrier than anyone around him? And somewhat crazy?

Get mean, angry, and crazier. And lead.

If frozen bystanders see a leader act, they will act (some of them anyway).

Remember 'let's roll'?

Crazy people can be beaten. They ain't as scary as you might think.

I am 2 days behind on the thread because of the extended power outage here. So excuse me.

Still, I absolutely concur that getting mean and angry and crazy is likely the most effective way to deal with all of this BS around and about us.

‘Let’s Roll’ May have been a load of propaganda crap, but the notion makes complete sense to me.

I am not going to fall on my sword without at least taking some of the swine out first. If I see it coming, and I do, I will make my peace with The Lord and then it will be Clobbering Time.

I have done my Mr. Mom duties, and my kids are aware, more than most I think. My grandchildren are being well schooled.

Before I give up the Ghost, I intend to at least attempt to help level the playing field, for the sake of their children and beyond.
