Funny stuff
They flew in so low that you couldn't see them til they were on top of you, and so slow that they were able to zig zag all the way down the flightline. What really struck me as I watched (my unit wasn't involved in the exercise) was how quiet they are in flight. You couldn't hear them unless their exhaust was pointed in your direction.
Of course, had they been firing 30mm rounds, everybody would've heard them!

I can understand why. I’m glad the plane keeps surviving the budget cuts as it fills a role our other aircraft can’t perform as well.
