Yet women get more money spent on breast cancer with tax payer money than men do for this type of cancer.

When men take those billions of dollars they spend on prostitutes and sugar babies every year and spend it on activism and research instead, then I'll care about how much money the Fed spends on each.

I don’t know about that. It certainly gets more attention.

Overall, BC and PC are actually very manageable. You wouldn’t know that from the BC ads (sort of like COVID, eh?). As a layman who has experience with it all I’d say PC generally is a little less dangerous than BC.

The outlier is Inflammatory BC, which is actually quite different and vastly more dangerous than “breast cancer”, as people think of it. It killed my sister. The few that get this can really skew how dangerous regular BC seems.

as I have stated, my youngest brother had PC in his early 50's....highly unusual....PC doesn't hit to a lot later in life....

Breast cancer however, can strike and kill very young women, as in their 20's.....not so for PC.....

Men get BC, too (although rarely).

People often complain that more funding goes toward BC. But, women with metastatic BC complain that the funding only goes toward treatments for early-stage BC. Many doctors admit that they really haven't gotten very far with BC treatments. They've mostly gotten better at catching it earlier.

The same seems to be true for PC - it's diagnosed earlier now.

PC and BC are similar in many ways. Both are often treated by "decreasing" a hormone. Both are associated with BRCA genetic mutations. Both kill many people, though many people erroneously believe both are curable now.
