He pointed a loaded gun at a person and pulled the trigger. You don’t do that with an unloaded gun if you have a functioning brain.
He didn’t check the gun himself. Takes two seconds. Blanks are obvious upon casual visual inspection.

though it is unclear whether the actors were rehearsing or filming a scene. Early reports said they were rehearsing the scene which begs the question how did Baldwin (allegedly rehearing the scene, presumably with other actors) end up shooting two non-actors?
Did the shooting happen during the rehearsal, between rehearsals, or independent of the scene rehearsal? If he was rehearsing the scene one would expect when he shot the prop gun he would be pointing the gun at the actors and not the crew.
Why were the crew shot and not actors?

As I understand it, there is no video of the incident... which means the cameras weren’t rolling... which means it wasn’t a take for the movie... which means there was no reason to be pointing the gun at anyone... which means there was no reason to pull the trigger and discharge the weapon.
The above makes me think he was either trying to be intimidating and had an accident or just being his usual a$$hole self... and had an “accident.”

We should pray that God will use this tragedy to move Alec to seek christ as savior. Hopefully his brother Steven will be able to get through to him during this time. Hopefully a.ec is not beyond redemption. Being as angry a person as he is, he woild seem to be, but God can use events to draw even hardened criminals to himself.
