Well, there’s all sorts required stuff these days that in my opinion should NOT be tolerated. I stand by it. Cannibalism ain’t a joking matter.No one is joking about it. They were pointing out that it sounds exactly like "A Modest Proposal," the title of Swift's published work. He was pointing out absurdity by being absurd and not in the jovial, Rush Limbaugh sort of way. Swift's work is important because it was one of the first times such a literary genre was used to create political action.
Would it be better if we said, "It sounds like Soylent Green?"
