To me, the real Stairway to Heaven is a song that features some great guitar playing by Everett Barksdale, a veteran of the Big Band era, jazz guitarist Art Ryerson and studio guitarist Don Arnone. It also features a nice baritone saxophone solo by King Curtis, who would have a hit of his own with Soul Twist a couple years later.
