Singer Bette Midler put out a tweet on Thursday afternoon informing conservative Christians that she does not think it would be a good thing to spend her afterlife in the same place she thinks they are going.
“Sorry Conservative Christians, but spending eternal life with you people is not the selling point you think it is,” she said.
Midler has previously defended legalized abortion through Twitter. On Sept. 2, she sent out a tweet that said: “I suggest that all women refuse to have sex with men until they are guaranteed the right to choose by Congress...”

And I’ve always thought about the possibility of “God’s final call” - that a person is provided hundreds or thousands of chances to accept Christ. After enough rejections, no more chances.
I feel sorry for whoever has to take care of her. It’s got to be a rough job.

Actually, it's not an issue, and it's certainly not a selling point, because she would likely not recognize anyone:

I think I could agree with that. Sin hardens a person’s heart, like the Pharaoh of Egypt. It makes them less inclined to repent. Not impossible, just unlikely.

We should pray for her. Can you imagine what a miracle her transformation would be? She is vile, but I’m a sinner too. God worked wonders with worse.

Lord God, I know I am a sinner in need of my own prayers, and I daily seek your forgiveness. This time, I am humbly and hopefully asking you to work a miracle in Bette Midler. I’m asking You on Your throne, to send the Holy Spirit to one of Hollywood’s most ghastly members, and let the Holy Spirit convict her and put Your word into her heart.
Lord I am serious. I am asking this for Bette’s good, and the influence she may have to save others, and I am asking this for Your glory, that all witnesses may see the truth.
I pray for Bette’s salvation in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Excuse me, Bette. Your bio says your family is Jewish. As I understand it, Jews don’t recognize Jesus as Savior and, if she’s talking about running into Christians in heaven, she can’t get there anyway. She doesn’t need to worry.
