excess iron and lymphatic endothelial damage is the problem with long coivd. lactoferrin acts like a buffer for Iron.
NAC and quercetin can absorb and bind excess iron. he doesn’t have quercetin on his list. I find that odd. Vitamin C needs to be taken throughout the day.
He has beef liver on the list. Beef is high on Iron.
ivermectin shouldn’t be taken for prevention or long term. Though it works great in early symptoms. He doesn’t seem to get that.
over all it’s not a bad list though. 99% better then hospital protocols.
One of the first articles I read said to take ivermectin once a week for 8 weeks and I did. I quit when I was told that information was wrong. I never had any bad reactions from it though. I keep it now just in case of an active infection. A lot of people did it for prevention and a lot still are. Being a recluse worked for me before the ivermectin so it will work for me again. I still do all of the supplements.
The info in that link is a bit dated. The niatonin protocol has been evolving, as Dr Kats has been getting ongoing user feedback and discovering more nuances. There is an ongoing chat thread on Telegram that moves so fast that it leaves these Q threads in the dust. I manage to stay only 3-4000 posts behind if I spend an hour a day speedreading it!
He does nor recommend Vit D, zinc or quercetin supplementation to those on the protocol. What’s obtained from food is sufficient.
As far as ivermectin is concerned, he’s got people on the chat who are detoxing from injuries suffered from it as well as from the coof jabs, in addition to current coof sufferers and long-haulers. So he chases away people who come on the chat promoting drugs. Don’t forget he is also holistic and nutritionally oriented. For every study favorable to IVM, he’s found another that contradicts it and is rather unfavorable. He’s convinced that the doctors who promote any repurposed drug therapies for coof and the jabs are merely the other side of the same Pharma system - like they’re “opposition in name only”, to gain the confidence of those people who don’t trust Big Pharma.
I’ve been taking niatonin for a month tomorrow, incrementally increasing the niacin. I’m so healthy and pain-free to begin with that I don’t expect to see any drastic things happening quickly, although if I ever did get sick, now I wouldn’t hesitate to go for megadoses of it after getting my feet wet on maintenance doses.
