....At the 1946 Nuremberg trials 11 were found guilty of crimes against humanity relating to the genocide of the Jews. Of the 23 Nazi war criminals on trial in Nuremberg, only 10 of the 11 “descendents of Amalek” were hung, thus fulfilling the request of Esther: “let Haman’s ten sons be hanged.” Normally a military tribunal required sentences to be carried out by FIRING SQUAD. 11 were sentenced to death but Goering took cyanide before the sentence could be carried out So Fulfilling the Prophetic “10 Be Hanged.”
Oct. 16, 1946, The New York Times has the following headline: GOERING ENDS LIFE BY POISON, 10 OTHERS HANGED IN NUREMBERG PRISON FOR NAZI WAR CRIMES; DOOMED MEN ON GALLOWS PRAY FOR GERMANY
Newsweek magazine (October 28, 1946), ran a story on the hanging. The last paragraph describes the death of Julius Streicher: “Only Julius Streicher went without dignity. He had to be pushed across the floor, wild-eyed and screaming: ‘Heil Hitler!’ Mounting the steps he cried out: ‘And now I go to god.’ He stared at the witnesses facing the gallows and shouted: ‘PURIM FEST 1946’ as the trap door opened.”
Stricher,was the founder and publisher of the anti-Semetic newspaper Der Stürmer, which became a significant part of the Nazi propaganda machine.The day after the Kristallnacht attack on November 10, 1938, Streicher gave a speech which referenced the Jewish holiday of Purim. He proclaimed, “Just as the Jews butchered 75,000 Persians in one night, the same fate would have befallen the German people had the Jews succeeded in inciting a war against Germany . . . the Jews would have instituted a new Purim festival in Germany.”...
