Impoverishing the middle class. The health system is being trimmed severely by the China Flu mandates and police departments and fire departments and the military. It is reaching the point that having health insurance doesn’t necessarily get you treatment. The current offensive against prescription pain meds is insuring that we won’t be able to get them when we break our bones.
The appeal of socialism, from what I’ve seen, is ironically rooted in people’s desires to have more than they’ve got. Tearing down the middle class can produce more of those people. It helps if you can get them to believe that their plight is due to a failure of capitalism, and the greed of the wealthy. All they have to do is submit to the temporary dictatorship of the proletariat. Honest...we mean it, this time.
