I was in London once, but only got to visit the Tower. There were some items of the royal treasury on display there; I’ve never seen so much gold and diamonds in my entire life, particularly the diamonds which were creating rainbow effects with the lighting.

I visited Buckingham Palace in August of 2007. It was only open during the summers when the Queen wasn't in residence. I'd visited Windsor Castle in early May of 2006, and the State Rooms were off-limits then, because the Queen was there at the time.
