Exactly, good people simply didn’t want to work for Trump, or were simply intimated by the Deep State into not working for Trump. So Trump’s options were limited.

This is a great public excuse but it is lame and ultimately false one. Just as he turned down paying for recounts in many states, he failed to pay enough to keep the attorneys. There are plenty of good attorneys, even some working for him then at the White House, that could have taken this on. They knew the election was going to be corrupted, they did not prepare, they went cheap, he picked bad people, and he and we all lost as a result.

One takeaway from the Trump administration is that he too often picked bad people. This broke his reputation of being a good judge of charactor in hiring.

Even now, why is he not spending money to hire credible attorneys to fight the election result? First, because it is likely a lost cause. Second, because he and others think they get more mileage fromt he controversy than by solving it. We are being played.

Now, some have good solutions--states putting in place better election integrity--voter ID. But unless we go back to paper, have a single day of voting, very limited and controlled absentee balloting, we won't solve the problem of corrupted and discredited elections.
