I am so far behind!
Saturday was spent hosting a Bunco party at my church. It was so great to be normal (mostly) for an afternoon. Sunday was spent babysitting my grandson for the first time. It’s been 30 years since I cared for a baby and boy was I exhausted by the end of the night. But, oh what joy he brings to my house. The beast was so curious and a little jealous of the attention the baby was getting.
As to your response. I agree that God is always in control and we must strive to know what His will and purpose for us is in the world. He desires us to be with Him in the world to come so we trust in His goodness. Is it the end times? I honestly don’t know. His disciples thought they were living in the end times. I believe we must be ready but not try to predict.
We know there is nothing new in human nature so the evil men do in this age is no different than that of men in other ages. The method and scale may be different but the end game is always the same. Evil men want to control mankind, for various reasons i.e. wealth, power or simply because of the belief that man is capable of destroying God’s creation. Though the world worshippers don’t believe it was God who created it. Satan wants the same. God will win and we who fear Him will win.
I love that speech by the Riccardo Bosi and have shared with others. We must prepare those we love as best we can for what may come.
