Justin Tucker set an NFL record in dramatic fashion Sunday afternoon.

The Baltimore Ravens kicker knocked home an NFL-best 66-yard field goal with three seconds left on the clock to beat the Detroit Lions, 19-17.

The previous record for the longest FG in NFL history, set by Matt Prater in 2013, was 64 yards.

That, combined with the NFL's.

The fortunes of this franchises success will not change until the ownership changes...maybe not even then. The NFL's hate for the Ford's go back to the patriarch of the family...and his well documented hate/distrust/disdain of a certain type of people.

Proud to say I've never spent 1 cent of my own money on this garbage product...and post kneeling...don't even watch the NFL, MLB, NHL, NASCAR anymore.

Used to call the fanbase the city of chumps, for supporting garbage products for decades. Guess that still stands. Places like Pittsburgh would never stand for this garbage...the stands would be empty after a few years, never mind decades.

The franchise will continue to find new ways to lose...the NFL just sees it stays that way, making a certain number of games competitive...just to keep the dollars rolling in.

I bet he laughed his you-know-what-off when he saw Garo try to pass the ball in SB VII.

Dempsey kicked it when the upright was on the end zone front line.

Not long after the upright was moved back again to the back line.

Now, don’t get me wrong, the ball DID hit the crossbar no LUCKILY went past, instead of bouncing back.

Nonetheless, that’s my boy. (Ravens have had outstanding kickers….Stover was great.)

I don’t know why Tucker keeps getting ignored with these lists of great kickers, whether today or any day.

Sick of hearing about Vinatieri and Gostkowski, while ignoring a guy who keeps hitting huge yardage and is most reliable/accurate. He’s often noted for latter during game calls but whenever these “best” lists come up, they manage to leave him off. Asinine.

Because it’s against the rules.

This is akin (maybe better) to all the stupid “pass interference” rules.

You can’t “goal-tend”. NFL Rule 12 Sec 3 Art 1.

Yes, Dempsey kicked the ball from his own 37 yard line. Moving the goal posts to the back of the end zone was one of the better rules changes.

In the words of the immortal Johnny Carson, "I did not know that."

Thanks for the information.
