statins do not contain niacin

I strongly advocate adherence to anticoagulation therapy, under the care of a physician/coagulation monitoring.

“I strongly advocate adherence to anti-coagulation therapy”

Lipitor is a cholesterol drug, not an anticoagulant. Anticoagulants like warfarin thin the blood, and Lipitor is used to lower “bad” cholesterol.

Lipitor has some ugly side-effects. Especially the problems it can cause with memory loss.

Niacin also has been used quite successfully for lowering bad cholesterol, BTW. The studies can be looked up.
