You and I seem to have similar sensitivities. I have sub-clinical lupus, and the birth control pill caused it to full flare, and I was told to stop the pill immediately! I did.
All sorts of the meds prescribed today that work for others really mess me up- all sorts of “allergic” reactions. You are wise to be cautious, and do diligent research.

My doctor was like that starting out when she was trying to give me statins and I kept having reactions. After she had to give me a steroid shot after an antibiotic caused a bad rash she changed her mind. Now if I have any problem she says “stop taking it”. :-)
