But I do not think the US Military would disable civilian communications or censor media talking heads. That is third world stuff. I would not discount “Protective custody” for some, however.
I think they would make an announcement and give periodic updates of what they want us to know and let the press do their thing. We’ll see who has “Established credibility” with the public. The media or the military.

Personally I take it to help me sleep; the melatonin tablets are not as helpful for me as the sublingual discs. I’m not surprised. My son does school online at home, he just prefers it. But many of his friends at different colleges are stuck in their dorm rooms doing online classes and are miserable. Crazy.
