William Shatner is going into SPACE with Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin

Legendary Star Trek actor William Shatner is set to become the oldest man ever in space as part of the second crew to travel with Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin.

The 90-year-old actor will take off in the New Shepard capsule in October for a 15-minute civilian flight, according to TMZ.

The Blue Origin flight will be recorded for a documentary that was rejected by Discovery and is now being negotiated by Shatner's team somewhere else.

I am thrilled that he will get to actually go into space. I’m sure he himself never imagined that he’d ever get there.

(As for Takei, the only reason he might want to go aboard Bezos’ ship is that the whole thing resembles a giant male appendage. He’d probably rather ride on top of it.)

We always watched the Jack Benny Show, the Perry Como Show, the Ed Wynn Show, the Jimmy Durante Show, the Red Skeleton Show, and many others when I was a kid. Wholesome entertainment for the whole family. There’s crap on TV nowadays.

Not yet. He made some remarks off the cuff to Bezos when he returned. I fully expect him to be on the talk shows tomorrow. I imagine he needed to recoup after such a day.
